Written and OSCE Examination Locations:

March Session
Centres will be established at the ten Canadian dental schools. Please note that the NDEB also intends to establish a centre in Boston Massachusetts and Minneapolis, Minnesota for the March 2010 session.

May and December Sessions
Centres may be established in Canada in several locations, provided that a minimum of 10 candidates apply in a location.

According to Board policy, Written and OSCE Examination centres may be established outside of Canada, provided that a minimum of 50 candidates apply for a centre and that an acceptable examination location with acceptable security can be established.

NOTE:
The NDEB will try to accommodate location preferences but may have to offer alternative locations due to space limitation at some examination locations.

No examination fee will be refunded to a candidate who commences a portion of the examination and for any reason does not complete that portion of the examination.

 

WRITTEN AND OSCE EXAMINATION WITHDRAWAL FEES

  • Withdrawal from an examination PRIOR to the deadline date
$100.00 per examination
  • Withdrawal from an examination AFTER the deadline date
$300.00 per examination

A withdrawal fee of $150.00 per examination will be charged for a candidate who withdraws from an examination after the examination registration deadline date but prior to the examination date, provided that the candidate supplies well documented evidence of illness or documentation of circumstances beyond a candidate’s control

RE-SCORING FEE

 


A candidate who is unsuccessful in an examination may, within 3 months of the release of their results, make a written request for a manual rescoring of their examination. A rescoring fee of $150.00 per examination must accompany each request.

 

OTHER FEES
  • Transcript of Marks $20.00/letter
  • Replacement of NDEB Certificate $45.00
  • Proof of Certification to Dental Regulatory Authorities $20.00/letter

ALL PAYMENTS FOR RESCORING AND OTHER FEES MUST BE IN THE FORM OF A CHEQUE OR MONEY ORDER IN CANADIAN FUNDS TO THE ORDER OF THE NATIONAL DENTAL EXAMINING BOARD

A FEE OF $20 WILL BE CHARGED FOR ANY CHEQUE WHICH HAS BEEN RETURNED BY THE BANK.
