MAY 2013 SESSION

Written Examination: May 25, 2013

OSCE Examination: May 26, 2013

Registration Deadline: April 29, 2013

A centre will be established in Toronto.

NOVEMBER 2013 SESSION

A competent beginning dental practitioner in Canada must be able to provide oral health care for the benefit of individual patients and communities in a culturally sensitive manner.

These Frequently Asked Questions apply to Graduates of Accredited Dental Programs.

Applications must be submitted online. All fees must be paid by credit card.

I CONTENT AND FORMAT

The OSCE is a station type examination comprised of a morning session and an afternoon session on the same day.

The Written Examination consists of two books, each with 150 multiple choice type questions.  Each book is given in a 150 minute examination session.  The sessions are held in the morning and afternoon of one day.

The Examination Blueprint outlined below gives the content areas and approximate number of questions in each area. 

Graduates of Accredited Dental Programs, Accredited Qualifying/Degree Completion Programs, and individuals who have successfully completed the NDEB Equivalency Process are required to successfully complete the National Dental Examining Board of Canada Written Examination and Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) for certification as a general dentist
